If I had a dog I'd call it Demi: Simon Cowell

From name-calling to ‘crowning’ antics, Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato, judges on The X Factor, cannot seem to stop calling each other names! The two celebrity judges are more often than not seen taking digs at the other, much to amusement of the other judges, Britney Spears and L. A. Reid, and the viewers. Add this Simon-Demi drama to the incredible talent that will soon perform on the show, and the Indian viewers are surely in for a visual treat as the biggest singing reality show, The X Factor kicks-off in concurrence with the U.S., starting September 14, every Friday and Saturday at 10 pm only on BIG CBS PRIME, LOVE and SPARK.

Simon Cowell who is infamous for his scathing comments and Demi Lovato who has pledged to be honest, even if brutally so, have been seen engaging in war of words – all in good jest though. One such instance occurred when Simon said, “If I had a dog, I’d name is Demi!” Instead of taking offense to the statement, Demi immediately quipped, “If I had a pig, I'd call it Simon!”

Looks like this is the first time that Simon Cowell is at the receiving end of sarcasm! Given his ‘drama queen’ like attitude and sarcastic remarks on the show, Demi along with co-judge Britney have even presented Simon with a tiara on the show. In fact, Demi even went on to call him ‘a little girl’.

However, despite their ongoing volley of retorts, the fiercely opinionated judges seem to hold each other in high esteem. When asked about his thoughts on Demi, Simon said, “Well, sitting next to her is like sitting next to a really annoying younger sister who just keeps poking and irritating me. But that's why I like her because she's kind of fearless. And for someone her age, to have that confidence is pretty incredible.” Demi, too, finds Simon to be fun. She said, “He's really fun to work with. We have a lot of fun together and I definitely give it back to him.” How is that for some tough love?
