Imade Games eying UGC casual games in India, partners with Hungama Game

India's premier games developer and publisher, Hungama Game Studio, part of South Asia's leading digital entertainment company Hungama Digital Media, has partnered with Imade Games. Developed by leading game developers Castletown Corporation, this partnership will provide the Imade games on the soon to be launched Hungama gaming platform.

Hungama Game Studio has developed over 400 games in the last four years and teaming with Imade is an innovative offering to the players, where each player has the option of personalizing all aspects of their game and further sharing it with friends. The games can also be shared with friends and family via social networking sites. The games will be available November onwards on the marquee websites of the Hungama networks.

Online gaming is picking up in India; the current Indian gaming market is already worth Rs. 3.4 billion with 2.8 million gamers in India. The worldwide gaming market was expected to reach USD 42 billion by 2010, growing at a CAGR of nearly 18 percent over 2006-2010.
