In Q3FY19, Mirchi has generated highest revenue in a quarter: Prashant Panday

Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, the operator of FM radio channel Radio Mirchi, has posted a total revenue of Rs 200.9 crore during the third quarter ended December 31, 2018, compared to Rs 147.9 crore in Q3 FY2018, a growth of nearly 36 per cent.

Reported EBITDA during the quarter was Rs 40.4 crore, higher by 13.5 per cent. Profit after tax (PAT) grew by 22.2 per cent to Rs 16 crore in Q3 FY2019.

Commenting on the results, Prashant Panday, MD & CEO, ENIL, said, “This is the highest revenue we have ever generated in a quarter and it is a very proud feeling for all of us! All parts of the business grew rapidly, and the company’s PAT has also grown handsomely. Three years ago, we entered a big investment phase when the government announced auctions for new licenses. Today, we are reaping the rewards of that investment. I see a strong period of growth ahead of us.”
