Inkfruit unveils new brand identity!

Inkfruit, India's first and largest consumer co-creation brand has announced that it has designed a new brand identity to capture the personality of members who form the Inkfruit community, as well as signify the increasing eclectic collection which is now a part of their repertoire.

Commenting on the brand identity change, Kashyap Dalal, Co-Founder and Maharaja, Inkfruit says, "After a lot of thought, we believe the two words "be interesting" perfectly echo the kind of people who are a part of the Inkfruit community and the kind of work we do."

We felt that the visual identity of the brand should capture the energy, passion and creative thought behind it. We are happy that our new logo is bang on target in that", he adds.

Inkfruit since its launch in 2007 has been a co-creation venture in the pursuit of creating Amazing Fun & Creative merchandise.

"Over the years Inkfruit had become synonymous with awesome graphic T-shirts. However, the collection has expanded from just T-shirts to a lot more - Bags, Flipflops and Laptop Skins being the most recent additions and we wanted our new visual identity to capture our vivacity", says Navneet Rai, Co-Founder and Nawab of inkfruit.

Ameet Joshi, Head-Business, White Canvas, inkfruit's advertising agency, said, "The brief was simple and clear - the logo has to reflect Inkfruit's core - Fun, Creative and Aware. We have given a form, a shape to these values. We have tried to define a unique space that would do justice to the attitude of the brand and get reflected in all the design elements that form an integral part of the brand's identity."

The company will spread the new brand through a complete digital communications campaign and has also roped in Mavcomm Consulting as Public Relations partner to communicate the changing facets of Inkfruit.

Inkfruit has simultaneously unveiled the new homepage look.

Fun and Creativity are apparent in the kind of designs/products the Inkfruit community creates. Awareness shares more insight into the personality of the people to whom Inkfruit appeals. Inkfruit should appeal to all those out there who have their own definition of 'whats cool' ... people who are comfortable with who they are ... who are conscious about issues that exist around them ... and who want to make a difference. People who are perhaps a tad bit dissatisfied with the 'status quo'.
