Inox Leisure partners with Isha Foundation to screen interactive film on Yoga

Imagine being part of a mystical, meditative world with yoga postures in a movie theatre. International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2016, will see a rare association between a spiritual organisation and an entertainment entity to celebrate the day by giving the age-old discipline of yoga a modern twist. #YogawithINOX, the first of its kind initiative by a movie exhibitor, will be brought alive at over 100 Inox cinema properties to provide an interactive experience to the movie‐going individual.

The activity aims to engage close to 20,000 movie enthusiasts across the country through the screening of an independent short film titled, ‘Life 70mm ‐ The Only Way Out Is In’ on June 21. The hour-long film is a short story of young people seeking to know about yoga. One of the aspects of the film is how yoga can be used for personal transformation. It will focus on the importance of yoga in our day‐to‐day lives and engage audiences through a 15-minute interactive capsule of ‘Upa-Yoga’ within the film. The film also has Sadhguru demystifying various aspects of yoga, along with bytes of various celebrities talking about transformation through yoga.

Speaking about the initiative, Rajeev Chakrabarti, CMO, Inox Leisure, said, “Cinema is known to have a certain meditative quality in its viewing. The interactive layer that Inox has added through #YogawithINOX, makes that even more true and alive. Entertainment is usually imagined and created without limitations and breaking barriers. The spiritual dimension we have added breaks all those limitations in a different way.”

Sadhguru, Founder of Isha Foundation, said, “The only way to experience true wellbeing is to turn inward. This is what yoga means – not up, not out, but in. The only way out is in.”

Bookings for the only screening of this film being shown between 6 pm and 7 pm on June 21 across the country can be done online and across all Inox Box Offices.
