It’ll be difficult to choose a few among so many good ones: Mayoori Kango

Entries for the DIGIXX Awards 2017 are open. Have you sent in your nominations yet? The DIGIXX Awards are initiated by Adgully in association with ad:tech and will be held during the ad:tech conference in Delhi on March 9 and 10, 2017. 

The Awards will be judged by an independent panel of highly acclaimed leaders from the advertising and marketing ecosystem. DIGIXX aims to be the platform to acknowledge the real achievers, who have done remarkable work this year. 

Mayoori Kango, Managing Director, Performics.Resultrix, part of Zenith, Publicis Media India, is part of the esteemed Jury panel for the inaugural edition of DIGIXX Awards. Kango’s experience spans across diverse areas such as business development, digital marketing, people management and training, product development and financial planning and operations. 

Commenting on Awards, Kango said, “I think DIGIXX is absolutely the perfect way to culminate ad:tech and Adgully, who have always been at the forefront of recognising great work, and talent makes a perfect partner.” 

On being part of the Jury panel, she said, “It will be a pleasure to review the great work that is being done in this space. It is always inspiring to see how ingenious our colleagues are in finding creative solutions to media and business problems. It will be difficult for sure to choose just a few handful amongst so many good ones, but l am looking forward to doing so. Good luck all!” 

Kango, who was part of the Indian film industry once, joined 360i as a search engine marketing manager, managing prestigious accounts like MTV, National Geographic and Panasonic. She quickly rose through the ranks at 360i and went on to become a media supervisor. 

In 2009, she joined Resolution Media OMD, part of Omnicom, as an Associate Director leading the Pepsi, HP and Monster.com accounts. She was also instrumental in launching Monster.com in North America, LATM & Asia. While there, she won awards, for instance, award for being ‘Digital evangelist for PepsiCo’ and ‘Employee of the Year’. When she was in Digitas, she led the Kraft and the Delta Airlines account, which grew 100 per cent in billings under her leadership. 

The DIGIXX Awards 2017 screening committee – comprising senior marketing and media professionals – will evaluate and score each submission. Every entry is evaluated by multiple committee members to ensure an accurate, thorough review. The top five entries with the highest scores will be selected Finalists for each category.
