Jagran's Sanjay Gupta joins the list of part time members of Prasar Bharati Board

According to media reports, Prasar Bharati has announced five new part time members on its board including Sanjay Gupta, Editor-in-Chief, Dainik Jagran. 

The other members include music composer Salim Merchant, journalist Ashok Tandon, corporate luminary Alok Agarwal and BJP leader Shaina NC. The board has six part time members, five of which were vacant. The sixth member is actress Kajol. 

The board is responsible for the functioning of Doordarshan and All India Radio.
