Kalyan Jewellers picks Amitabh Bachchan as brand ambassador!

Amitabh Bachchan the reigning shehansha of Indian Cinema becomes the brand ambassador of jewellery retail chain Kalyan Jewellers. Bachchan will endorse Kalyan Jeweller’s range of products that are high on both style and quality. The announcement is in tandem with Kalyan’s focus on becoming the preferred brand for jewellery in India.

The group has 35 stores spread over the 4 southern states and is the single larget self owned jewellery chain in the country.  This year the group is entering new markets of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The group is targetinga turnover of Rs 16000 crores this financial year. By 2014 end the group expects to touch 100 stores across the world.
 
Kalyan has planned an advertising campaign that will get national and international visibility. Bachchan will be endorsing Kalyan jewellers not only in North India but also will be used for commercials in south. Bachachan will highlight the Kalyan qualities like 100% BIS hallmarking, rate tag. Bachachan will also act with our brand ambassadors in south. 
 
Kalyan Jewellers has always been noted for their innovative advertising campaigns. Whether it is about purity in gold jewellery, fair trade practices, availability of variety in designs, all the ads have become memorable due to the creative ads and innovative narration styles.
 
Over the years Kalyan has done pioneering campaigns to educate people about purity in gold, pricing malpractices in gold and cheating through offers and schemes.
