Lessons in Disruption - Meet India’s Women Super-Achievers today in Mumbai

Time has come to turn the spotlight on women leaders who have been changing the game in the business sphere. Adgully’s first ever Women Disruptors Summit & Awards is a novel initiative to applaud and also hear from and interact with the women super-achievers of Indian business. Women Disruptors is set to get underway in Mumbai today evening at Sahara Star, 4 pm onwards.

The Summit is a move away from mere listicals of women achievers around Women's Day every year and instead is positioned as an annual platform Of Women, For Women, By Women. Leading industry experts will discuss on relevant topics such as ‘Risk-taking Ability of Women’, ‘Entrepreneurial Spirit of Women’, ‘Corporate Culture with Women Leaders’, and more. Well-known actress Richa Chadha, who is also known for her strong views, will be engaged in a special fireside chat, where she will share her experiences in the entertainment world and give us a peek into the inside workings of the film industry.

Mentorship Programme 

Today, women constitute half of India’s workforce and bring a perspective like no one else. No matter what the role is – copywriter, client servicing, buyer, communications, or a P&L, there is nothing that they cannot handle with the highest levels of efficiency. They have a proven record of winning at levels and are making a mark in the international sphere as well. 

While it is heartening to see the growing force of women leaders in our industry, we aim to create many more as we go forward. 

In order to achieve this endeavour, Adgully is launching ‘Mentorship Programme for Women in MARCOM’ in association with IAA. As part of this programme, young and upcoming women leaders from all over the country will be trained and groomed by an elite panel of veterans of the advertising and marketing industry. 

A designated team of successful and well-known industry leaders are being engaged to act as powerhouse of guidance and learning for deserving young women professionals in India’s corporates. This team will offer mentorship and business guidance in the form of success stories, case studies and learnings, in special workshops that will be held twice a year under aegis of the Adgully ‘Mentorship Programme for Women in MARCOM’. 

Raj Nayak, Founder, House of Cheer, and Gayatri Yadav, former President, Consumer Strategy & Innovation, Star India, will unveil this special mentorship programme dedicated to grooming and nurturing upcoming young women leaders of India. They will also share details on how this mentorship programme will pave the way for future women leaders in corporate India.
