McCain Foods India appoints Vikas Mittal as Managing Director

McCain Foods India Pvt. Ltd, the Indian subsidiary of McCain Foods Canada”the world's largest producer of frozen French fries and potato specialty products, announced the appointment of Vikas Mittal as Managing Director of India & Subcontinent region. In this capacity, Vikas will be playing a key role in shaping long-term growth strategies for the company besides building the McCain brand in India.

An alumnus of IIM Lucknow and Delhi College of Engineering, Vikas has over 20 years of experience working across most competitive FMCG categories including Haircare, Skincare, Foods and Beverage, Laundry, Homecare, OTC and Healthcare.

In his previous assignment, Vikas was working with Dabur India Pvt. Ltd where he was Executive Vice President (Marketing) for Dabur's Personal and Home Care Division and subsequently moved as Head of Innovations, Dabur India Pvt. Ltd. Prior to joining Dabur, Vikas has held key positions in India, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia in organizations like Proctor and Gamble & Friesland Campina (a Netherlands-based Dairy Cooperative).
