Metro’s AW collection campaign fits the Millennials

Metro- the fashion footwear brand from the house of Metro has launched ‘Wear What you Are’ a new digital campaign done by Makani Creatives. The campaign highlights an eclectic fashion that is essential for the upcoming festive season. Mix and match is the theme, be it traditional with athleisure, Contemporary with casual or formal with relaxed.

The campaign reflects the inimitable styling sensibilities of young modern Indian audiences, who are comfortable in their skin and have a distinctive dressing approach that reflects who they are. Mirroring that sentiment Metro with its wide product range for men and women encourages the consumer to ‘wear what they are’ cause no matter what their fashion preferences are, Metro has something that will suit their festive look!

Commenting on the launch of the campaign Sameer Makani, says, “The campaign conceptualised by Makani Creatives, is targeted towards the contemporary young millennial. In this digital and fast paced era, men and women today do not like to be bound by the regular festive fashion trends. We have therefore created an unconventional campaign for the target audience to better resonate with the brand’s offerings.”

“The young generation is smart and progressive; they like to spend on a few key pieces of footwear and fuse them with various looks rather than buying different pairs for different looks. Metro believes in offering choices that lets the audience remain true to their individuality be it any occasion. The launch of the AW campaign ‘Wear what you are’ during the festive season highlights the very fact that style is personal and hence every individual should dress the way they like- even if it means breaking stereotypes,” said Alisha Malik, VP Marketing and Ecommerce, Metro shoes

The launch of the AW campaign during the festive season is a perfect fit for the Indian millennial by portraying them as a generation that believes in fusion. A generation that loves to mix and match and doesn’t mind wearing sneakers below a lehenga and a Kolhapuri chappal under a denim

The Campaign is live on social media, OOH, over 1000 theatre screens across India, print and in-stores.

‘Wear What You Are’ and take care of your individual fashion needs this festive season.
