Mindshare elevates Amrita Randhawa and Prasanth Kumar

Mindshare has fortified its strategy for its Growth Markets region with two key elevations. Amrita Randhawa has been promoted to Asia Pacific CEO, while Prasanth Kumar has been promoted to CEO for MENA and Africa. This will be in addition to his current role as CEO for South Asia. 

Randhawa and Kumar in their new roles will continue to work with Ashutosh Srivastava, Executive Chairperson & CEO for Growth Markets, comprising APAC, MENA, Africa & Russia/CIS. Both roles are effective immediately. 

Prior to this elevation, Randhawa was CEO, Mindshare Greater China. Along with her new role, she will continue to manage Mindshare China as its Executive Chairperson and will continue to be based in Shanghai. Randhawa has been with Mindshare for over 12 years and has worked across the Delhi, Mumbai, Beijing, Shanghai and APAC Regional office in Singapore. 

As CEO, Mindshare Asia Pacific, Randhawa will be responsible for the agency’s product, especially delivering the balance of brand and demand services for marketers and ensuring that Mindshare adapts and evolves in line with client’s needs first and not agency agendas. 

In his role as CEO for South Asia, Prasanth Kumar has been leading the agency’s expansion in that market, bringing the agency to a dominant position according to RECMA. As Mindshare India CEO, Kumar had developed a record for not just the most number of new business wins by a single market, but also a tradition of external accolades, which included such highlights as a Glass Lion at Cannes and an average of over 250 external awards per year.
