Mindshare sweeps Media Abbys; The Social Street walks away with 2 Golds

Day one of Goafest 2016 saw the presentation of the Media Abby Awards. Mindshare led the awards tally with 17 metals, including two Gold, six Silver and nine Bronze Abbys.

Maxus followed with seven metals – one Gold, two Silver and four Bronze Abbys. Madison Media and Lodestar UM scored six metals each. Neither of the agencies scored a Gold. Both agencies won four Silver and two Bronze Abbys each.

The Social Street secured two Gold Abbys. The agency’s total metals tally stood at four and included two Silver Abbys as well.

Mindshare’s two Gold Abbys were for Lakme Lip Pouts in Grazia campaign (Best Use of Newspapers and Magazines) and Before Iftar time, its Lifebuoy time campaign (Best Use of Integrated Campaign).

The Social Street secured two Golds for its campaigns done for Britannia Good Day – Smile to be surprised (Best Use of Outdoor category) and The Slide of Smiles (Best Use of Ambient Media category).

Maxus (LinkedIn’s Get a Job campaign), OMD (Kinder Joy Story Station), Msix (The ‘Quit Smoking’ Partner for ISL), Cheil India (Samsung Galaxy S6 Search campaign), PHD India (Lo Kar Lo Baat), Isobar (Say Na) and Mindshare Sri Lanka (Light Up My Nation) were the other agencies that secured a Gold.
