Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph team's 12th Man hits Disney + Hotstar on May 20

Following the success of Drishyam and Drishyam 2, two of Malayalam all-time biggest movies, the trailer for Jeethu Joseph's next directorial film, 12th man, starring Mohanlal, has been released. The film is set to be streaming on Disney + Hotstar on May 20th and portrays the narrative of a mysterious murder.

 

 

Mohanlal was drawn to the film because of the intriguing narrative and Jeethu Joseph's directing. He also added that the film, like their past flicks, would be a visual feast for the audience. According to Jeethu Joseph, the biggest attraction of the film is the many dimensions brought to the central protagonist by actor Mohanlal. He also said that the technical perfection of the picture, the power of  the narrative, and the great performance of the actors strengthened his confidence as a filmmaker.

Unni Mukundan, Anushree, Anu Sithara, Saiju Kurup, Rahul Madhav, Atithi Ravi, Sivada, Priyanka Nair, Leona Lishoy, Anumohan and Chanthunath are among the cast members alongside Mohanlal. KR Krishnakumar penned the film's screenplay. Satish Kurup directed the film, and Anil Johnson composed the soundtrack. VS Vinayakan is in charge of editing.
