Mothya problem saathi Ganpati Bappa, pan chotya problem saathi aapan ahot na - #AmazonIndia

This festive season, Amazon launches a campaign for Ganesh Chaturthi! Ganesha is known to eliminate obstacles, and hence people pray to him for help in accomplishing their biggest hopes and dreams. In this campaign, conceptualised by Orchard Advertising, Amazon reminds us that there are many things that may not be in our control, for which people continue to turn to Ganpati Bappa, but for the smaller problems, Amazon is with you to take care of them.

The campaign is live across all major Marathi TV Channels, and will be supported by Digital, Out of Home, Print, and Radio in Maharashtra.

The film is about a young girl, who as a ritual always gets her lucky blue and gold pen blessed by Ganesha to help her remove obstacles and do well in her exams. While she’s desperately searching for it, much to her disappointment, her brother puts a random white pen in her hands and tells her to adjust with it this time. On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, she places it in front of Ganesha in her society’s pandal, and prays sincerely to do well in her exams. While she is praying, her brother takes out a blue and gold pen from the Amazon box and replaces it in front of the Ganesha Idol. There is a heart-warming smile on the little girl’s face, when the voice-over says “For all the big problems, pray to Ganesha, but for the smaller problems, Amazon is with you to take care of them.”

Ganga Ganapathi Poovaiah, Senior VP & Branch Head, Orchard Advertising, Bangalore commented, "Ganeshji, thanks to his unique personality, is one of the Gods in our culture that people develop an almost personal connection with. And Ganesh Chaturthi, which marks the start of the festive season in India, gives everyone a chance to connect with this 'accessible God' in their own unique way. Amazon recognises and celebrates this unique relationship, and marks the start of a season of celebration, enduring family ties and wishes being fulfilled with this heart-warming film."

Lubna Khan, National Strategy Head, Orchard Advertising said, “The Ganesh Chaturthi festive season is a time when we not only demonstrate our faith and pray for the resolution of problems, we also reaffirm our bonds with our community and loved ones through our actions. Amazon wants to celebrate this festive spirt and be a part of this reaffirmation through the empowering access the brand provides"
