MOVIES NOW brings 'Ip Man' on Indian Television

Honour. Courage. Respect. Trust. Balance. These are just a few of the words that define a true martial artist, and the closest recall one may ever have is that of the grandmaster who introduced Martial Arts to the world. This May, Martial Arts fans get a chance to pay homage to the legendary Ip Man, the master of masters.
 
While Bruce Lee can be credited to the rise of Chinese martial arts, MOVIES NOW gives its viewers a chance to meet the man behind the star’s success! This month, MOVIES NOW exclusively brings the Legend of Martial Arts, Ip Man in the movie Ip Man 2 for the first time ever on Indian Television on 26th May at 9pm.
 
With some of the most amazing fight sequences ever, the film showcases a dazzling variety of martial arts styles by International Superstar, Donnie Yen. Skilled performers, ace choreography, and top-notch production values, make Ip Man 2 a must watch this month. This trailblazer movie has received 10 nominations at the 30th Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Action Choreography.
 
Ip Man 2, the film takes up where its predecessor left off, with Ip Man escaping the Japanese occupation of his hometown. Ip Man 2 is a semi-biographical film on the life of Ip Man, based in Hong Kong, which is living under the iron fist of the British colonial rule. He attempts to propagate his discipline of Wing Chun, but faces rivalry from other practitioners. Ip Man 2: Legend of the Grandmaster is a throwback to the golden age of Hong Kong martial arts cinema that will delight kung fu fans and newcomers alike.
