Director Christopher Nolan has worked with complex narrative structures before in Memento, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight  but his stylishly cold spin on putting together a spectacular script with award winning performances by the star cast, Leonardo Di Caprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, come together perfectly in Inception to make it Nolan’s masterpiece to date. A box office success, Inception was filmed in six countries and four continents and grossed over $800 million worldwide during the time of its release in 2010.  It won Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Cinematography and was also nominated for four more: Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Art Direction.

The film revolves around the main protagonist, Cobb, played by Leonardo Di Caprio, a man who works with a team stealing corporate secrets from the minds of executives while they sleep. Trying hard himself to deal with his attachments to his past memories that involve his wife who haunts Cobb wherever he goes, keeps him from fully experiencing the present.  Is she just an illusion in his mind or is she really his wife that is haunting him?
