Myntra.com and J.J. Valaya to dress up brides via contest!

In an attempt to create beautiful memories for to-be-brides, Myntra.com and J.J. Valaya, known for his wedding and bridal wear in India, have declared the much awaited winner of the ‘Be a JJ Valaya Bride’ contest. The winning bride was endowed with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of receiving a wedding lehenga worth close to Rs. 2 Lakh, gifted by Myntra and personally designed and handed over by J.J Valaya himself.

‘Be a JJ Valaya Bride’ was a social media campaign that was organised on Myntra’s Facebook page over the past few weeks, which required to-be-brides to send in their pictures and participate in the innovative online bridal contest. The contest received over 1,000 entries, a rare occurrence for any bridal contest, from which, the best caption and picture was chosen as the winner.

The winning bride to be, Iitishree Srivastava, a 38 year old resident from Gurgaon and a mother of an eight year old daughter, was extremely excited about availing the coveted JJ Valaya lehenga for her upcoming wedding.
