Nachiket Pantvaidya quits Balaji Telefilms

Nachiket Pantvaidya has quit Balaji Telefilms as its Group CEO within a year of joining the company. Nachiket will be with the company till 31st May, the company said in a regulatory filing.

A veteran and renowned leader of Indian entertainment industry, Nachiket is a visionary and has distinctive understanding of the entertainment ecosystem having worked across all its facets. He joined ALTBalaji in December 2015 and successfully scaled it up to be one of the leading OTT player in the country with the largest collection of original shows in Hindi and other Indian languages.

Nachiket have P&L responsibility of the company’s operations spanning Content, Marketing, Distribution and Revenues. With strong leadership and management skills, he is committed to lead the development and implementation of strong processes and controls across the group to deliver on the company’s business plans.

An IIM- Ahmedabad alumnus, he held key leadership positions at Sony Entertainment Television, Star Plus, Star Pravah and Fox Television Studios. His illustrious career also includes working with industry leaders like Disney and BBC as well.
