Navigating today's complex and treacherous digital waters, a conversation at IAMAI-Havas Media Event

The eleventh Media Marketing Round table conference had a good turnout despite heavy rainfall.Although for some time it all seemed in a flux but many braved bad weather to be part of this Media Contacts and IAMAI joint initiative. It was time well spent in august company.

"Navigating today's complex and treacherous digital waters: a conversation" was the topic of discussion on the panel. Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media South Asia, started it by cracking a joke, "Navigating today's(Mumbai's) complex and treacherous waters: a conversation, well remove the digital and it pretty much sums up today's situation." She took the gathered crowd through a nostalgic media evolution process and spoke about the changing phases of media and how advertisers are looking at investing today.

Followed by two presentations Rajeev Bala, Managing Director, India and SE Asia, Media Contacts and Josh Krichefski- Global Director Client Development, Havas Digital.

Post the presentations by two great luminaries there was a panel discussion on the various nuances of social media.It was started with are we getting swayed by Social wherein the panelists had lots to say.The panel comprised of Atul Agarwal-Vice President Tata Services, Suvodeep Das- Marketing head, Kaya limited, Neville Taraporewalla- Director, India Advertiser & Publisher Solutions Group, Microsoft, Rahul Sinha- Chief Marketing Officer Birla Sun Life Insurance Co Ltd and Ronita Mitra- Head Corporate Brand Group, ICICI bank.
