NBA elects new top order, KVL Narayan Rao of NDTV is the new President

The News Broadcasters Association (NBA) announced its new office bearers with KVL Narayan Rao, Group CEO and Executive Director, NDTV, as the new President. Which means that he will be replacing Sameer Manchanda, Chairman and Managing Director of DEN Networks Ltd.

Barun Das, CEO, Zee News Ltd, has been elected as the Vice President which was earlier held by Rao himself. Replacing Das, Ashok Venkatramani, CEO, MCCS, has been elected as the new Treasurer.

Rao's journalistic career has spanned over more than fifteen years. He started his career with Indian Express as a journalist and later joined NDTV Group in 1995 as General Manager and later in 1998 was appointed as an Executive Producer. He was appointed as the Group CEO in 2007.
