News24 appoints Srinivasan Jain as Consulting Editor

News24 has appointed Srinivasan Jain as its Consulting Editor. Jain, who previously served as the Group Editor of NDTV, has joined the News24 team. His association with NDTV dates back to 1995, during which time he held various significant roles, including Mumbai bureau Chief between 2003 and 2008, and the position of Managing Editor at Profit, NDTV's Business Channel. Additionally, he was the anchor for several NDTV programs, including "Truth vs Hype" and "Reality Check." Jain is also known for his op-ed columns in Business Standard.

In his new role at News24, Jain will anchor "Dateline India," a weekly show that combines interviews with influential newsmakers and on-the-ground reporting. Currently, he also serves as an adjunct faculty member at OP Jindal Global University.
