Ogilvy's Talha B Mohsin shifts to Director's Chair after 22 years in advertising

Talha Bin Mohsin, renowned as an Executive Creative Director (ECD) at Ogilvy Mumbai, recently announced his departure from the advertising realm after dedicating 22 fruitful years to the industry. Mohsin embarked on his journey as a copy trainee at McCann Erickson in Delhi, subsequently navigating through notable roles at Leo Burnett, DDB, McCann Erickson Mumbai, and Contract Advertising before landing at Ogilvy.

His trajectory not only reflects professional growth but also boasts a rich tapestry of interactions with esteemed brands, both international and local. Among these are Cadbury, Pidilite, ICICI Lombard, HUL, Asian Paints, Perfetti, National Geographic, Coca Cola, HBO, Volkswagen, Marico, Radio Mirchi, Yamaha, and McDonald’s. Alongside brand engagements, Mohsin's career path sparkles with numerous accolades garnered from prestigious platforms like Cannes, One Show, Adfest, Spikes, New York Festival, Goafest, ABBYs, Effies, and Mirchi Kaan, underscoring his creative prowess and industry impact.

Mohsin shared his decision to bid adieu to advertising on LinkedIn, stating, "I’m quitting advertising after 22 gruelling but fully worth-it years." His departure is driven by a desire to step into the director's chair and embrace the chaos that awaits, marking a significant transition in his professional journey.
