On this I-day, Indigo 91.9 plays an A Capella rendition of National Anthem

As India celebrated 70 glorious years of her Independence, Indigo 91.9, the radio station for a Fun Young Bangalore and Goa, for the first time on radio, played an A Capella rendition of our National Anthem. Curated by some of the finest musicians in the city, the A Capella version of the National Anthem evoked great pride and patriotism as it played out on-air on August 15th. A video of the same was also shared on their social media handles, as listeners shared their support and love.

 Indigo 91.9 also thanked and paid rich tributes to the brave men and women in our armed forces - Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force who protect Hindustan Humara. Remembering all those challenging times which shook the nation, the narrative followed a message to the Armed Forces, thanking them for the service to protect the nation.

 Also on Independence Day, Indigo 919 Bangalore celebrated brands that have contributed in shaping Brand India. The legends behind these brands, like Dr. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon, Mr. Narayana Murthy of Infosys , Mr. Ashish Hemrajani Bookmyshow.com, OML’s Mr. Vijay Nair, MTR’s Mr. Vikram Maiya and Mr. Narayan Rao from the iconic ice cream brand Corner House, were part of the exclusive series. These industry leaders shared their journey, mantra, goals and aspirations with the audience.

 The exclusive series was broadcast between August 14th to 15th on Indigo 91.9, as a series on the brands digital assetTheIndigoXP.com and on their social media platforms.
