Outlook Money's editor Debjoy Sengupta joins SREI

SREI has appointed Ex Outlook Money's editor Debjoy Sengupta as AVP - Corporate Communcations and Brand. SREI's Somasroy Chakraborty, VP & Head - Public Relations has also moved on from the company and is joining HDFC Bank as DVP - Corp Comm this week. It is his last working day at SREI, according to the sources.

Sengupta had joined Outlook Money in 2020 and was responsible for managing the print and online versions of the organization. 

In over two decades of his life in business and economic journalism, he has served two of the country’s biggest dailies, contributing on a diverse spectrum of subjects spanning from insurance and corporate affairs to energy and infrastructure. 

Prior to Outlook Money, Sengupta was associated with The Economic Times for more than 15 years and was covering the energy including power, coal, oil & gas, nuclear power, renewable energy - the whole gamut.

He has also been a part of Business Standard as a Special Correspondent for almost five years.
