Oye! 104.8 FM is the new avatar of Meow 104.8 FM

A massive outdoor campaign will kick start from today along with a lot of cinema advertising, out of home and one ground activation and so on. The new identity attempts to provide the consumers a listening experience through a mix of well researched songs, engaging RJs and humour. The focus apart from Bollywood is going to be on brand building and product. Oye! is present in 7 cities that includes Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata,Amritsar, Jodhpur, Patiala and Shimla.

With its tagline "Sabse Filmi', the station will focus on the "filmi' way of life. To unveil this new FM channel, Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were present and interacted with the media. Harshita Vaishnav was awarded a cheque of Rs. 50,000 for winning the contest of guessing the right name of the channel which was held in the recent past.

Aroon Purie, Chairman and Managing Director of TV Today Network said, "Radio is the next big thing and has rapidly emerged as an important media vehicle. Everyone says that it is a crowded market, however every market is crowded. I am sure our radio station will be entertaining and engaging and will gain traction with the consumer in quick time."

The station will tweak its product offering in the respective markets to cater to the consumer preference.
