P.C. Chandra Jewellers launches new TVC wedding starring Sayyesha

P.C. Chandra Jewellers, eastern India’s one of the largest and most trusted brands, on Friday launched their new TVC on Wedding Collection, crafted in 18KT gold and diamond which reflects today’s bride’s desire to be different. The new television commercial stars Sayyesha who has been the face of the brand for the past 4 years.

Ideated by SOS Ideas, directed by Nitish Sharma and executed by Flintstone Pictures, PC Chandra Jewellers unraveled a unique wedding story of an empowered and independent Indian woman of the contemporary era. The heartwarming wedding tale is unlike any other- where she discovers and embraces new relationships amidst old ones-where office evolves as her new home! They make the bride's special moment shine with masterpieces in diamonds. Because PC Chandra Jewellers understand the emotions that make every wedding precious.

Story Line: This film celebrates the most important day of one such woman in a very unique location, her Office. Today’s working women spend most of their lives in their office, they share their most personal and intimate moments with their colleagues who remain their lifelong friends. Office romance often leads to marriage. And such marriages become a very important event for all the other colleagues of that office. This latest wedding film of PC Chandra Jewellers celebrates the big day of one such girl, an orphan who has the support of all her office colleagues on her wedding day, all except the angry boss. The colleagues transform the office into a mandap, the conference transforms into the dressing room, everything is in order but when the registrar enquires about the bride’s family, a silence looms in.

Finally, this day becomes really big for the girl because she discovers a fatherly figure who props in for the bride. Her boss.

Speaking about the campaign, Mr. Uday Kumar Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers, said, “Wedding films of PC Chandra Jewellers have always reflected the journey of empowerment of the Indian bride. This time we wanted to appeal to the young women of today. An unconventional storyline, which is with the times and talking about the girl, Shalini who has her own identity and her work place friends have become her family, finely strikes a chord with today's woman. Even the look of the bride is also very different, where she chose Diamonds for her Big Day, which reflects her desire to look different. This is a story of timeless relationships in the modern world. Very apt for a brand that is loved by the GenX brides of all over the nation for our timeless masterpieces in gold and diamonds. Each bridal set has the good wishes of the entire P.C. Chandra family.”
