Paytm ties up with Adivasi Yuva Seva Sangh

Paytm, India’s largest mobile commerce platform encourages talented artisans to showcase their work on its online platform. It recently entered into an association with Adivasi Yuva Seva Sangh, a registered non-profit organisation that works for the empowerment of tribal craftsmen. The NGO is assisting around 100 artisans in their livelihood by selling and marketing their distinguished art pieces on Paytm’s online marketplace.

Renu Satti, Vice President - Paytm said, “We are extremely delighted to associate with Adivasi Yuva Seva Sangh and provide the skilled tribal artisans a platform that enables them to reach millions of people across the country. By presenting their hand made products on our website, we wish to attain dual objectives of encouraging the work of craftsmen and providing our customers with an exhaustive array of beautiful craft work.”

The line of handiworks that will be presented on Paytm’s website includes Warli painting articles, paintings on canvas, paper and clothes, paintings on wooden articles, bamboo products and stationery, interior design products, wall hangings, curtains, pillow covers, key chains, key holders, pen holders and corporate gifts to name a few. Warli Paintings is registered with a Geographical Indication (GI) under the intellectual property rights act.
