Pee Safe enters toileting aid category with portable jet spray

Wellness and hygiene startup Pee Safe has launched its new product Pee Safe Portable Jet Spray, an affordable and travel-friendly portable jet spray.

The battery-operated jet spray will be of immense use to travellers and students, especially those going overseas, infants and campers.

“All our products are to create awareness amongst Indians to not compromise on personal hygiene, no matter where they are. The Pee Safe Portable Jet Spray is no different. When traveling, particularly in foreign countries, it can be difficult to find a jet spray.  Our travel size bidet is clean, easy to carry and has adjustable water pressure,” said Vikas Bagaria, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Pee Safe.

All one needs to do to use this Portable Jet Spray is to fill it with clean water. Control buttons on the bidet will help the users adjust the water pressure, and the nozzle and water pressure can be adjusted manually in a desired position. After each use, the nozzle can be cleaned and dried with a clean cloth before the next use. Each Portable Jet Spray has a shelf life of five years.

There are few portable bidets in the market currently and Pee Safe is looking to leverage an early mover advantage in the domain, especially in India that is experiencing a massive spurt in travelers and campers.

As per Pee Safe, the portable bidet category is all set to explode not only in India but globally. The current market is expected to reach $1.2 billion by 2030 on the following key drivers such as a more hygienic and environmentally friendly alternative to toilet paper, reducing irritation and promoting thorough cleansing.

Additionally, as people become more health-conscious, they are turning to bidets for improved personal hygiene. The convenience and portability of these devices also make them appealing for travelers and those with limited bathroom space.

Moreover, the growing awareness of the environmental impact of toilet paper production and waste disposal is prompting individuals to seek sustainable alternatives, further driving the demand for portable bidets.

Owned by Redcliffe Hygiene Pvt Ltd, Pee Safe is one of the leading personal hygiene brands in India with marque products ranging from toilet seat sanitizers to reusable sanitary pads to menstrual cups.

Pee Safe was launched in 2013 by Vikas and his wife Srijana to address the higher risk of urinary tract infections among women by offering a revolutionary product— a toilet seat sanitizer.

Currently, the startup has over two dozen products that cater to grooming, personal hygiene and wellness. These products are available in over 15,000 retail stores in 70+ cities. In the past five years, Pee Safe has grown with a CAGR of 100%.
