Pepperfry’s Ambareesh Murty passes away while on road trip to Leh

Ambareesh Murty, CEO and Co-founder, Pepperfry, passed away due to cardiac arrest while on a road trip from Mumbai to Leh in Ladakh. Murty had reached Leh, where he had been documenting his trip on his social media account. In fact, as per media reports, in probably his last Instagram video, Murty had described the roads and the entire atmosphere in Leh and had written, “If God ever got around to creating a heaven for bikers, it would look like this.”

Murty’s sad demise was confirmed by Ashish Shah, Founder, Pepperfry, on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Murty was 51 years old. He is the latest among young and healthy well-known people to have died of cardiac arrest in recent times, which has become a worrying issue.
