Percept Activ seamlessly executes Filmfare South 2014 in Chennai

Percept Activ, the strategic business unit for Percept Sports & Entertainment recently handled Filmfare South 2014 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. This was for the third consecutive year that Percept Activ executed the event on 12th July 2014.

The designs and decor conveyed sophistication and elegance which is synonymous with the Filmfare South Awards. The red carpet was laid out for the celebrities and guests in all its glory which was flawlessly executed and thus enhanced the experience of the awards. Stars like Dhanush, Kamal Hassan, A R Rahman, Sathya Raj, Mahesh Babu, Tamannah were all seen walking down the magnificent red carpet. Bollywood’s evergreen beauty Rekha upped the glamour quotient of the event by giving away the Award for the Best Actor(Critics) to Dhanush.

The stage was set ablaze by some splendid performances by renowned South Indian Stars. While Shruti Hassan performed to her telugu hits, Catherine – rocked the audience with her act dedicated to Rajnikanth, and the reigning actor Tapsee made her maiden performance at the Filmfare.

Commenting on the successful execution of the event, Sameer Sethi – Business Head, South Percept Activ said, “This year however was a challenge, as we had 2 days of set up time unlike the planned 5 days, due to a political event planned by the CM. We’re thankful to our team and our partners that we were able to set the stage ready for rehearsals as previously committed.'
