Tata Realty’s ‘OnFocus’ Contest celebrates World Photography Day

In a world where technology and business often reign supreme, the fusion of art and the corporate landscape might seem unconventional. However, creativity often finds its way into the most unexpected places, and Tata Realty’s ‘OnFocus’ photography contest exemplifies this notion. Set within the premises of Intellion campuses, the competition was thoughtfully aligned with the essence of World Photography Day. It offered occupiers a unique opportunity to capture their favorite shots of the Intellion properties, across Mumbai, Chennai, and Gurugram.

Giving these buildings a voice beyond their utilitarian functions, the competition was held from 26th July to 10th August, and engaged occupiers in a meaningful way. As a result, occupiers were asked to upload their photographs on Instagram, using the hashtag #IntellionInfocus, while also tagging the Intellion handle and the relevant location. Later, after a two-day voting phase, the top 10 images from each property were showcased on Instagram. The top three winning entries were unveiled on August 15th, shining a spotlight on the most remarkable captures. These visually captivating images, meticulously selected by a distinguished panel of judges, are poised to evoke an array of moods associated with Intellion buildings.

Traditionally, commercial buildings have been appreciated for their utility and aesthetics, but the competition transcended these conventional viewpoints. It showcased how commercial spaces can be transformed into exquisite works of art, capturing emotions, stories, and connections that lie beyond brick and mortar. To support this narrative and bring a unique lens to the contest, there was a jury panel of esteemed photographers, André Jeanpierre Fanthome and Nikhil Kapur. Having grown up in Bhutan, amidst nature’s beauty, Fanthome’s captivating travel photography, keen eye for detail and ability to capture the essence of a moment made him an ideal judge for this contest. Further, Nikhil Kapur, with his extensive experience in architecture and interior photography, complemented the jury. Having documented heritage buildings and weddings, Kapur’s artistic prowess was helpful in adding depth to the evaluation process.

In line with this, it is also imperative to understand that in the realm of commercial real estate, it’s not just about leasing spaces; rather nurturing an ecosystem that keeps businesses invested for the long haul. Emphasizing community-building, the ‘OnFocus’ contest was more than an artistic endeavor; rather a conduit that brought along individuals into a vibrant fabric of belongingness. From an artistic standpoint, this approach differentiates Intellion, assuring businesses that they are an integral part of a thriving ecosystem. By fostering connections among occupants, Intellion has the capability to retain the existing businesses and attract new ones seeking dynamic and creative work environments.

From a commercial project perspective, the contest transcended traditional perceptions and accentuated that office spaces are not mere utilitarian entities; they can be immersive environments that stimulate innovation, collaboration, and enhance productivity. By embracing artistry within real estate designs, Intellion elevates its space beyond functionality. This resonates deeply with businesses seeking environments that embody their values and aspirations, thereby attracting and retaining clients.

Furthermore, harnessing the power of visual storytelling, the contest underscored the significance of high-quality photography in modern digital landscapes. These visuals allow brands to go beyond words and communicate their narratives effortlessly. This resonates profoundly with potential occupants and tenants, conveying an ecosystem where ideas flourish — an enticing prospect for businesses aiming to foster innovation and draw in top-tier partners.

In essence, Tata Realty’s ‘OnFocus’ contest at Intellion Offices redefined traditional perspectives at the intersection of art and business. Beyond capturing the artistic essence of buildings, the initiative reshaped how architecture is perceived within the corporate realm. Through community-building, employee engagement, and the magic of photography, this initiative leaves an indelible impression, reminding us that art transcends boundaries and finds its place even in the most unexpected settings.
