PM Modi's Twitter account compromised

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal Twitter account was temporarily breached in the early hours of Sunday. While the account was quickly restored, a tweet advocating cryptocurrencies had already been sent from the account, which was later removed.
In a tweet, the PMO India said, "The Twitter handle of PM @narendramodi was very briefly compromised. The matter was escalated to Twitter and the account has been immediately secured. In the brief period that the account was compromised, any tweet shared must be ignored."

A Tweet with a URL was placed on PM Modi's timeline before the account was restored, "India has officially adopted bitcoin as legal tender. The government has officially bought 500 BTC and is distributing them to all residents of the country.”
