Prabha Narasimhan appointed as MD and CEO at Colgate Palmolive, India

Prabha Narasimhan, executive director of HUL, has been appointed by Colgate Palmolive Company as CEO and MD of Colgate Palmolive, India. Ram Raghavan, who has has been elevated to president – enterprise for Colgate Palmolive Company’s Oral Care, has been replaced by Narasimhan.

Narasimhan spent the previous nearly 16 years working at HUL as an Executive Director. She was the GM of strategy at Madura Garments earlier.
In a LinkedIn post, Narasimhan said: “Today, the thought of beginning my new journey with Colgate has made me smile without a doubt. In the past three months, I’ve had the fantastic opportunity to visit seven offices and six different countries in order to get to know and understand this company and itsemployees. I am now looking forward to working with the Colgate Palmolive team in India on products that I grew up with and for a company that is a true powerhouse.”
