Pratap Bose from Social Street passes away

One of the pioneers of the OOH business Pratap Bose passed way this morning. Pratap who began his career in Vantage Outdoor but later on moved to Ogilvy Outdoor in 1992 when the agency started their outdoor cell. He spent close to 17 years with Ogilvy and was largely instrumental in building the outdoor business. He was the thought leader in that media and was always ahead of the others when it came to OOH medium. When he moved out of Ogilvy he was the CEO at that time.
Bose then co-founded the marketing and communication agency The Social Street in 2015 and stepped down from the post in 2020. He set up The Social Street after moving out of DDB Mudra where he was the COO. He was an advertising and marketing consultant for the last 3.5 years. An industry veteran he was also the former president of the Adclub Mumbai. He was an avid traveller and was very found of photography and paintings.
His passing away is a huge loss to the industry as the OOH industry has lost a great leader with dynamic thinking and vision.
