Radio One ropes in Martin King as station head

The joint radio venture of Mid-Day Multimedia and BBC Worldwide, Radio One, has appointed Martin King to head Radio One's Chennai Station. Martin King takes over from LV Navneeth. Navneeth, who'd quit the organization a couple of months ago, is currently with Sun TV Network operating as the firm's VP.

King has worked within radio space previously too as he was Head of Sales at Radio City, Chennai and Coimbatore before joining Radio One. King had joined Radio City in 2006 after he quit TOI as Senior Manager.

At Radio One, King would be looking after sales, programming and marketing sections of the radio station.
