SAB TV has a winning run at DMAi Echo Awards 2014

In the recently concluded DMAi award function in Mumbai, SAB TV bagged three awards for its innovative marketing initiatives - Gold award for SABurbia.com, a Silver award for SABprize and a Silver award for SABurbia board game. The DMAi ECHOTM Awards, brought to India by DMAi, honours the creative par excellence in marketing and advertising campaigns.

SABurbia.com won a Gold award in the Creative/Interactive - Gaming category. What made SABurbia.com win a Gold is its great engagement potential with audiences online. SABurbia makes the existing fans from brand loyalists to brand evangelists through innovative and interactive online activities.

An interesting gameplay involving all popular SAB TV shows and characters, SABurbia.com went viral, with more than 50,000 app installs over Facebook, App Store and Windows mobile platforms.

The SABurbia.com board game won a Silver for Creative/Interactive - Experiential Marketing. In line with the channel’s core ideology – ‘Asli Mazaa SAB Ke Saath Aata Hai!’; The board game gets the players together and undertake tasks to gain goodwill currency. SABurbia board game has sold more than 5000 copies since its launch in November 2012.

The third award for SAB TV was a Silver for Creative/Direct Response – Broadcast for SABPrize – A unique one-of-its-kind loyalty programme in the Indian television industry. Users who register on the website can participate through SMS, answering questions asked during the show and thus collect points and the top scorers win attractive gifts, following SAB TV’s marketing innovation strategy of providing active user engagement.  Well!
