SAB TV's Lapataganj makes a comeback

Till date one of the most popular shows on SAB TV, ‘Lapataganj’  recently went off air early this year. But due to  popular demand and the strong bond that the show created with it’s  audiences it is making a  comeback to cheer them once again.

The show Lapataganj which used to be aired in the 10 pm slot Monday-Friday on SAB TV, has been a much known show based on the concept which portrayed rural India. It has its own uniqueness in terms of script, concept, and dialogues that highlighted the truth of our society with a satirical punch.

Anooj Kapoor, EVP & Business Head, SAB TV confirmed the news as he said, “Yes, the show will go on air soon but as of now just the promos have been launched. The show made its presence felt and was missed by its viewers and so we are finally bringing in the second season of the show.”

He added, “We are still deciding on when to launch the show as it’s still in process, once decided it would be shared soon.”

Now it’s time to once again catch up with  some of the best characters  like Lallan Ji, Mukundi Gupta and his lovely wife Indumati and best friends Chotu Mama and Alija amongst others. The new season of Lapataganj produced by Garima Productions  promises to create much happier moments for its viewers.
