Sakal Educon 2011 receives huge applause In Dubai Knowledge Village

This is an annual event started in 2004 and this year the venue was Dubai. Some 50 Vice Chancellors from top notch Indian Universities and Industrialists, Business leaders discussed the future of Indian Education system over three days and formulated the strategies and policies of Indian Education System. This year's Chief Guest was the Honorable Minister for Human Resource Development of India Mr. Kapil Sibal. In his opening speech he reiterated the need for complete transformation of Indian Universities. He also emphasized the need for embracing Internet based technologies to develop open-courses which can be accessed from anywhere.
