Samsung S5 presents 'The Class of '92' on Vh1

Vh1 India engages its fans with premium International shows that have entertianed Indian audiences over the years. The month of July will mark the premiere of cinematic documentary, ‘The Class of ‘92’ airing on Wednesday, July -9 2014 at 10:00 p.m. only on Vh1. ‘The Class of '92’ chronicles the rise of David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Phil and Gary Neville. The film charts Manchester United’s journey from 1992 to the remarkable period of 1999 that saw the European Cup triumph.The film cuts the narrative with the social and cultural changes taking place in Great Britain at the time.

Apart from providing complete access to all the six players, the film also includes interviews with former Manchester United youth coach Eric Harrison, film maker Danny Boyle and former Prime Minister Tony Blair. It also relives some iconic, top of class moments like Diego Maradona’s Hand of God in 1986, The Cryuff ‘Turn’ in 1974, Marco Tardelli Goal celebration in 1982, Roger Milla Dance Moves in 1990, Gordon Banks Miracle Save in 1970, Jack Taylor first referee to award penalty in a World Cup final in 1970, Argentina’s 24 pass goal in 2006, Diego Maradonna’s wonder goal vs. England in1986 and Van Persie’s Superman header in 2014

To give a little ‘something special’ to the football fans -, a week-long contest will be hosted on the channel’s-digital platforms, where Vh1 will be posting photographs of matches/events of previous World Cup seasons and will be asking  Vh1 fans- to caption the image. The best caption wins a Vh1 Jersey. Vh1 will be posting 1 image everyday leading up to the premier of the show on 9th July
