Saregama India partners with Salim-Sulaiman to presents the The Bollywood Musical

Saregama India Ltd., India’s flagship Music and Entertainment  Company along with Salim Sulaiman presents the The Bollywood Musical. A journey of re-creating the biggest classics that are orchestral & woven by re visiting the golden era of Bollywood.. For the first time ever Saregama in collaboration with the talented maestros Salim-Sulaiman will be representing the work of over 30 gems from Saregama’s opulent repertoire and symphonically giving a unique feel to this live event. Some of the songs are the top hits of the Indian Cinema, portraying the time when music was the soul of the film.

 

This prestigious project  is spearheaded by none other than the most successful music composer duo of   Bollywood Salim Sulaiman. The entire project will take over 60 days of studio time,  by  “Salim Sulaiman” accompanied by over 28 instrumentalists, 8 vocalists, chorus, state-of-the-art production to give a Larger than Life experience to the audience in hope to embark upon an unforgettable musical journey with the best melodies of Indian Film Music

Salim and Sulaiman have been composing music for over a decade having scored music  for movies  of directors like Yash Chopra, Subhash Ghai and Ram Gopal Varma  such as Neal 'n' Nikki, Chak De! India, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Fashion. The duo had also composed for many Indi-pop performers including Viva, Aasmaan, Shweta Shetty amongst others. They have also  worked on a Bollywood remix for the Grammy award winning artist Lady Gaga for her songs Born This Way and Judas.
