SBI General Insurance appoints Samrat Ghosh as head of Digital Business

Samrat Ghosh has joined SBI General Insurance as Head Digital Business & Partnerships. Previously he was the Associate Vice President – SME Digital at ICICI Lombard. He also served in TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited as the Associate Vice President – Digital Marketing and Afffinity Partnerships for two years.

He joined Videocon Consumer Durables as a Management Trainee and Birla Sunlife Insurance Company Limited as an Agency Manager. He was also the Sr Manager E-commerce/ Digital Partnership at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited. Then he moved on to become the Chief Manager & Head – Digital Marketing & E-commerce at Bennett Coleman & Company Ltd (Times Group).

He worked in the Strategic Alliances – Digital Ecosystem Department at HDFC Life. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Institute of Rural Management and Delhi University.
