Shemaroo Entertainment brings ‘Lav Kush Ramlila’ to audiences home

Keeping the spirit of the festivities alive, and after the many past successes, Shemaroo Entertainment is back again with the live streaming of Delhi’s most celebrated ‘Lav Kush Ramlila’ from the iconic Red Fort.  The much anticipated event will be streamed live daily from 6 pm to 12 am between 6th and 16th October. In addition, on 15th October, which is Dussehra, it will be streamed live between 2 pm and 12 am, so audiences can enjoy the act even longer.

Ramlila is a dramatic folk re-enactment of the life of Rama. It showcases the mythological story of Sitaharan, the bhakti of Lord Hanuman towards Lord Ram, and the end of Ravan that marks the victory of good over evil. The Ramlila at Red Fort has been happening for the past 80 years and is a grand spectacle as it is attended by the Prime Minister, the President, and other renowned celebrities.

The live enactment at Delhi’s oldest fort, will be available to audiences across geographies at their home through DTH service providers, Shemaroo’s Mobile platforms and social media platforms. Consumers who wish to enjoy the event on their TV sets will have to subscribe to the devotional service from their DTH Operators. Shemaroo will also distribute the live feed via some selected mobile apps & websites to reach out to maximum audience. Also, audiences can watch it live on Shemaroo Bhakti YouTube channel and Social media platforms.
