'Shillong Chamber Choir' are the winners of India's Got Talent Khoj 2

It was an evening to remember as Shillong Chamber Choir, the talented finalist group from Meghalaya was declared the winners of COLORS' India's Got Talent Khoj 2. The entire nation including Meghalaya's Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, who was also the guest of honor, showered their love and support for the winning group through multiple votes. The winning performance befitted the grand finale episode leaving everyone spellbound. While Teji Toko - Drummer from Arunachal Pradesh was declared as the first runner up and Bir Khalsa ' Martial group from Punjab were the second runners up.

Shillong Chamber Choir started their journey from Kolkata auditions and managed to impress the judges from day one. Their ability to perform original and a medley of Bollywood songs in operatic style has been the unique factor which led them to win the title. Today they take a bow as the winners of India's Got Talent Khoj 2.

Apart from the winner, there were other special performances in store for the evening gala affair. Avika Gor who made the character of "Anandi' a part of everyone's lives danced on "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' while the Nayi Anandi Pratyusha Banerjee danced on the song "Mere Haath Main'. The two Anandis came together to perform on the popular Aisha sing "Gal Mithi Mithi Bol'.

The charming host Nikhil flaunted his DJing skills while the other host, suave and stylish Ayushman danced and sang some of the judge's favorite songs like the melodious Akeli Na Bazaar Jaya Karo, Kirron Kher's Ma Da Laadla and the peppy number Dhanno.

However, the highlight of the evening was the "dhamakedar' presence of well-known singer Usha Uthup who initially performed a comic role as she donned the hat of a politician from the South. Post whish she made a come-back as a "Mumbaiyya gunda' and finally she made an entry as her original self.

Last season's IGT winner, The Prince Dance Group also performed at the grand finale. The entire star-cast of the recently released Khichdi- the movie also made their appearance and kept audience in splits of laughter.

The winners took home cheque of rupees Fifty lakhs alongwith a Kawasaki Ninja bike as the prize.
