Sony MAX telecasts one of the sports movie ‘Jersey’ this October

Sports dramas have their unique charm, off lately movies with serious sporting elements in it have captured the imagination of movie lovers across country and one such movie is Nani starrer ‘Jersey’. The movie narrates a zero to hero story in some style and offers a fresh take on a man’s mission who rediscovers his love for playing cricket at an interesting stage of his career.

For the natural star Nani

Need we say more? One of India’s most admired actors playing the country’s most loved sport – things don’t get better than this. Do they? Sit back and enjoy the natural star score big in this sports drama with a perfect amalgamation of emotions that is bound to delight you.

An exceptional coming of age movie

Jersey is a gentle reminder that dreams have no age limit in the rat race of being successful as early as possible. ‘Late bloomers’ as we call it are everywhere around us, doing the most exceptional things and we need to celebrate them. So no matter what your age is, this movie is bound to inspire you to work towards achieving your goals.

Defies gender stereotypes

We finally have a movie where the woman lead is not just an eye-candy. Sara’s character, played by the supremely talented Shraddha Srinath has depth to it and plays an inspirational role in how the intriguing storyline of the movie shapes up. Sara is a regular girl with flaws, imperfections and struggles which she is trying to overcome in her unique style.

Another important aspect of the movie is the relationship between Arjun (Nani) and his son, where unlike the conventional Indian dad, Arjun is passionately involved in his son’s life and tries to inspire him by fulfilling both of their cricket dreams.

Realism is at the core of this movie

Nani and Shraddha have great on-screen chemistry! Their relationship is a shift from the flowery-masala packed scenes shown in every other movie. Jersey highlights the highs and lows that every couple goes through with great intricacy. Their marriage is a portrayal of the realities of what real couples go through and how they navigate through hardships and parenting.

This is a sports drama like no other

Jersey is not a regular story about an athlete. This is a story about you and I and every other Indian who has dreamt of something bigger than them. This is a story of a man who shows courage, defies all odds, and brings dreams to life. It is just what we need to feel inspired and fearless.

`Let the story unfold with the telecast of Jersey on 2nd October at XX only on Sony MAX`
