Square renamed as Block

Jack Dorsey's other company is changing its name just days after he resigned as CEO of Twitter.

Square, the digital payments business that Dorsey co-founded and continues to lead, announced its rebranding as "Block" on Wednesday.
Square (SQ) will continue to be known as the company that delivers software and services to retailers, while Block will represent the corporate parent of Square (SQ).
