Star Jalsha Presents ‘Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha’

Do dreams and aspirations die as we age? Is ‘Middle aged’ a tag for women, which stops them trying new things, achieving newer dreams, and living life with the same exuberance that they had in their younger days? Why does our society expect middle aged women to act as per their age? As if they have already lived their dreams and there’s hardly scope for anything big, new, or exciting…

 Here comes ‘Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha’, the brand-new fiction to be launched by Star Jalsha, raising these questions in our viewers’ minds. Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha, is the story of Kojagori Basu, a middle-aged woman who embraces every moment of her life with unwavering enthusiasm.

 Kojagori, a mother and a wife, lives every single day of her life with great zeal and curiosity, trying something new, living newer dreams and throwing away all the criticism that come in her way. In all her quests, her biggest supporter is Tota, her daughter, constantly encouraging and supporting her.  Living in a middle-class society, her enthusiasm faces constant criticism from the society. But can all these criticisms stop her from dreaming and living life to the fullest?

 Kojagori Basu's character is portrayed by the versatile actress Aparajita Adhya and Tota, her daughter’s character is portrayed by the talented Anusha Viswanathan.

The show will also feature eminent artists like Chandan Sen, Anashua Majumdar, Arnab Banerjee, Debottam Majumder, Ipshita Mukherjee, Dulal Lahiri and many more
