Starbucks' Deepa Krishnan joins Hyatt Hotels as Marketing Head

Deepa Krishnan, with a rich professional history spanning 23 years, is set to take on the role of Marketing Head at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, India and South West Asia. Having concluded a successful four-year stint at Starbucks, Krishnan's career began in 1999 and has since encompassed diverse roles in esteemed organizations.

During her tenure as the Executive Director of Strategy at Kantar and Head of Branding and Marketing Communication at Idea Cellular, Krishnan showcased her expertise. Notably, she played a key role in shaping innovation strategy at Diageo India, addressing strategic business issues related to consumer trends, brand repositioning, and marketing strategy during her time at the Futures Company. In her initial role as Assistant General Manager at Godrej, Krishnan spearheaded responsibilities in marketing and new product development.

Armed with a PGDM degree from IMDR (Institute of Management Development and Research), Krishnan brings a wealth of knowledge to her new position. Her appointment is anticipated to fortify Hyatt's marketing strategies, further solidifying its standing in the competitive hospitality market.
