Sudip Roy rejoins TCM Sports as EVP

Sudip Roy, an experienced media industry professional, has recently announced on LinkedIn that he is rejoining TCM Sports as Executive Vice President. With over two decades of expertise in the field, Roy's return brings valuable insights to his new role.

Before rejoining TCM Sports, Roy briefly served as Cluster National Head at Zee Media. During this period, he successfully managed the All India National Revenue for nine channels, including Zee Hindustan, Zee 24Ghanta, Zee Rajasthan, Zee UPUK, Zee MPCG, Zee PHH, Zee DNH, Zee Salam, and Zee Bihar Jharkhand. Additionally, he oversaw the entire Government Business of all 14 channels within the network.

Prior to his time at Zee Media, Roy held the position of EVP & Revenue Head – New Business at TCM Sports in 2021. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in devising and executing revenue strategies for various New Business verticals, such as Digital platforms, Branded content opportunities in Sports, New IPs & Sports Events, Media Partnership with Agencies & Media Owners, and In-stadia sales nationwide.

Before his first stint at TCM Sports, Roy worked with Network18 as EVP – Revenue Management for over three years. Starting in 2014 as National Revenue Head for CNBC Awaaz, CNBC Bajar, IBN7, and IBN Lokmat, he played a key role in driving revenue growth for these channels.

Roy's career in the media industry began in 1998 with ZEEL, where he held various positions, eventually becoming Senior Manager – Sales. In 2005, he moved to ABP Network as Regional Manager and dedicated eight years of service to the company, culminating in the role of Business Head – Events & Special Features. In 2013, he further expanded his experience by joining Neo Sports Broadcast as SVP – Ad Revenue.
