Sumbul Touquer Khan to make a comeback with Kavya -Ek Jazba Ek Junoon

Sumbul Touqeer Khan is all set to play ‘Kavya’ in the new show ‘Kavya- Ek Jazba Ek Junoon’ on Sony Entertainment.

Will Sumbul get the same love for her new show ‘Kavya’ that she received for Imlie and for her stellar performance in Bigg Boss 16 (BB)? We have to wait and see!

Sumbul survived in BB for 100 days as the youngest contestant and she played well. In Imlie, Sumbul proved her acting skills and somehow after she left, the show could never regain its lost glory.

In the new show ‘Kavya’, Sumbul is playing the character of an IAS officer named Kavya Bansal. The show revolves around the life of ‘Kavya’ who is brave and strong, and against corruption.
Speaking about her role and reasons for taking up this role, the young actor says, “The narration of the show is progressive. Despite Kavya, being from a middle class family, she has that courage and faith to stand up for the welfare of the common people.”

The show’s promo has already become popular among the audience. Sumbul has always been seen in Indian wear but her look is completely different from her last few roles.
Recently, while interacting with the media for the promotion, Sumbul said, “Whatever, I have done so far in my career has always been appreciated and my fans have always showered unconditional support. I am hoping they will love me in ‘Kavya’ as well.”

The show also stars Mishkat Varma and Anuj Sullere. Fans have already started making hashtags of Sumbul and Mishkat and their offscreen BTS is hinting of a great onscreen chemistry.

Kavya: Ek Jazba Ek Junoon will premiere on Sony TV on September 25 at 7:30 pm.
